Charleston is a beautiful lake, located in the Frontenac Arch biosphere, standing at 9 miles long and 4 miles wide. The lake itself is full of islands, coves, reefs and some of the clearest water you will see in Ontario.
Paddle an approx. 20km loop. No shuttle or portages. Intermediate skills are required to be comfortable paddling in white caps, as significant winds can be encountered on route. Kayak skirts and associated safety equipment with practical experience on how to use it is necessary. Rendezvous point will be dependent on weather conditions. Park fees apply.
