PADDLE FROM ROCKPORT

Join Mary and Sam for an exploration of the Navy Islands. We will put in at Landon’s Bay and head south to circumnavigate Stave Island.

We’ll follow a circuitous route among many small islands to our lunch spot on Mulcaster. The afternoon will be more island exploration with the return through sheltered waters. 

This is an intermediate paddle, 15 km, suitable for experienced kayakers or canoeists. On the St. Lawrence there is always potential for strong winds, big waves and current. In addition to a PFD the wearing of a spray skirt is strongly recommended.

Note: There is a beaching fee of approximately $6.00 for the use of the Thousand Islands National Park.
