Members are invited to borrow club canoes, kayaks and SUPs to paddle from the boathouse at the times shown below. We have a variety of canoes, kayaks and SUPs for you to try. Often there are experienced members on hand to show you how.

June, July, August – Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm; Saturdays 9:30 to 11:30 am.

Guests may accompany a member in a Club canoe, or bring their own watercraft, on Boathouse Paddles and Club trips.

Our club schedules member-led day trips year round. These may be midweek or weekends, and offer a range of challenges from beginner to advanced. Most trips are within a 1 hour drive from Kingston. Refer to the Calendar for details.

Members (only) can rent a canoe or kayak for use on a Club trip (only). Make arrangements through the leader of the trip.

Refer to Resources > Policies via the main navigation menu to review the Boat Rental Policy.

We are always looking for leaders to lead trips. If you are new to the area, but don’t know the waters and trails around here, we can help! If you want to learn, we can help! Just bring your enthusiasm. Contact our events coordinator (Connie Ball) for more details.

Many of our members are experienced paddlers, hikers, skiers and back country explorers. They love to share their knowledge and be glad to answer your questions during the club trips. Come and participate, meet new people and have a good time while gaining knowledge and experience.

Our boathouse has rental space for approximately 60 boats. These spaces are reserved for members who use their boats. We do not rent space for long term storage. We are usually full, but do check with the boathouse administrator for details and current information. Also refer to the boathouse FAQ here, and the boat storage policy on the Resources page.

If you have been a member for at least 60 days, you can vote at our AGM, usually held in the middle of October each year.

Bring your enthusiasm and volunteer. We need you for the Boathouse Paddles, to lead trips, to be on the board. Everything we do is done by the efforts of our dedicated volunteers.

We hope to see you soon.
