September 2, 2020 All Day
Each year Frontenac Provincial Park challenges hikers to complete 160 km of trails in the park during September and October. Slide Lake Loop at 21 km is the longest, most rugged section, requiring an extra walk-in to the trail head. To circumvent the walk we paddle in 4 km on Big Salmon Lake.
8 km paddling, 21 km+ hiking. Be prepared for a long day 10+ hours. Park fees apply. If there is poor weather, a rain date will be arranged.
