FRONTENAC CHALLENGE - SLIDE LAKE HIKE
Each year Frontenac Provincial Park challenges hikers to complete 160km of trails in the park during September and October. Slide Lake Loop at 21km is the longest, most rugged section, requiring an extra walk-in to the trail head. To circumvent the walk we paddle in 3km on Big Salmon Lake.
6km paddling, 21km + hiking. Be prepared for a long day 10+ hours. Park fees apply. If there is poor weather, a rain date will be arranged.
